This shoot took place nearly 3 months ago… it was a surprise shoot by Grandma for the boys’ parents, as their 10th wedding anniversary gift.  And it’s been so hard to keep to myself!!

We started off around the house…

Then we headed outdoors…

They were surprised yesterday with a 20 x 30 canvas float wrap of this last one hanging on their wall… Happy 10th Anniversary!  These are two amazing little guys you’ve got!

Meghan is my husband’s little sister… and she got engaged!  She and James had been dating for a  year when they got engaged, and they’ll be getting married in April 2011.  I got to shoot their engagement session at Silverleaf… quite a lovely setting.  We had a cloudy, slightly rainy afternoon, so we went out when it wasn’t raining… and a little when it was.  Don’t worry, we didn’t melt. :)

James is a great pool player…
…and he also likes to dance and is a good dancer… which is good for Meg. :) Excited for the wedding next April!!  Love you!

I had the pleasure of doing a family shoot this past weekend for some of our close friends.  In Arizona, we honestly expected it was going to already be scorching hot by May 22nd.  But, the weather seemed to know what we had planned, and it was a perfect afternoon/evening!  We’ll enjoy it while it lasts, because we know it won’t last long… the heat is coming!

Introducing Tommy… the newest addition to their family.  He is all of two and a half months old, and such a little sweetheart!

Finley is two and a half years old… such a fun kid!
Gotta love a baby smile!  Wow, does he love Mommy…
I love this “outtake”.  I know he’s drinking out of his Thomas cup, but he’s in love with Thomas right now… perfect.

Yeah… I made her go outside on her birthday and actually take pictures.  She really wasn’t in the mood, but guess what?  She (shock!) hammed it up for the camera anyway.  And I did catch her off her “ham” a couple times, and caught a few real moments.  Those are the ones I love the most.

And the first again in black and white. Can’t decide!

Cannot believe she is 5 already – how the years have flown!  So glad she agreed and wasn’t completely unamused when I asked her to come outside with me. Happy birthday, L!

It’s January, and I’m gearing up for a busy spring as usual!  I have a limited number of sessions available, so if you are interested in a shoot sometime between now and April 15th, please get in contact with me to book your spot!!  (Keep in mind all of the fun holidays we have coming – Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day…)   After that date, I’ll be back to my fully-available self – just in time for Father’s Day!

Since our Christmas cards have been sent and seen by now… here is our family shoot, taken early December.  Our daughter is almost 5, and our son turned 2 at the end of December.  It’s amazing to see how these two have progressed over their years in our family… I can’t believe how much Logan looks like a girl now instead of a baby… no more cheeks!  And Jake is soon to follow… I will squeeze his cute chubby cheeks while I can!

I even managed to catch a couple of all four of us… thank you very much to my trusty tripod and camera remote!!  Hey… at least we’re all looking in the right direction!

I hope everyone is having a great 2010 so far…. Thank you so much to all of my wonderful clients for making 2009 such a fabulous year!!
