I had the pleasure of doing a family shoot this past weekend for some of our close friends. In Arizona, we honestly expected it was going to already be scorching hot by May 22nd. But, the weather seemed to know what we had planned, and it was a perfect afternoon/evening! We’ll enjoy it while it lasts, because we know it won’t last long… the heat is coming!

Introducing Tommy… the newest addition to their family. He is all of two and a half months old, and such a little sweetheart!

Finley is two and a half years old… such a fun kid!
Gotta love a baby smile! Wow, does he love Mommy…
I love this “outtake”. I know he’s drinking out of his Thomas cup, but he’s in love with Thomas right now… perfect.

It’s January, and I’m gearing up for a busy spring as usual! I have a limited number of sessions available, so if you are interested in a shoot sometime between now and April 15th, please get in contact with me to book your spot!! (Keep in mind all of the fun holidays we have coming – Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day…) After that date, I’ll be back to my fully-available self – just in time for Father’s Day!

Since our Christmas cards have been sent and seen by now… here is our family shoot, taken early December. Our daughter is almost 5, and our son turned 2 at the end of December. It’s amazing to see how these two have progressed over their years in our family… I can’t believe how much Logan looks like a girl now instead of a baby… no more cheeks! And Jake is soon to follow… I will squeeze his cute chubby cheeks while I can!

I even managed to catch a couple of all four of us… thank you very much to my trusty tripod and camera remote!! Hey… at least we’re all looking in the right direction!

I hope everyone is having a great 2010 so far…. Thank you so much to all of my wonderful clients for making 2009 such a fabulous year!!

You may remember three of these cuties from this post a few months ago… They were back in town for Christmas, so an extended family photo session was to be had! It’s always nice to have the family together for the holidays, and it’s especially nice when some of them don’t live near the rest! Gotta love togetherness at Christmas… here are some of our captures.And since this little guy was one day shy of three weeks old… I had to capture his sweetness! (Here he’s being cuddled by Grandma…)

And that’s a wrap – family hand pound!! I am in love with great-grandpa’s expression towards his great-grandson…

Thanks so much for having me capture your beautiful family… I had such a fun time! You have a lovely family, and I’m so glad you got to spend time together for Christmas!

I was lucky enough to be able to do a shoot for this Mom & her fun kiddos, as a gift for Dad for Christmas… shhhh! I just loved this one… with the sun’s rays enveloping them, and kids being kids!

I met some friends of ours in the park, with their labs Daisy & Jake. Mike & Kylie recently got engaged and are planning their wedding for next fall… we’re excited for the wedding!
After a few shots (okay, a lot!) with the dogs, we did the “couple” portion of the shoot…

We had fun… can you tell?!
It’s too bad we don’t have prettier sunsets here in AZ…I had so much fun with you guys!! See you soon… jules

Two Special Ladies… Scottsdale Family Photographer

These two ladies are near and dear to my family’s heart. Miss Katie (the Mom) was a teacher and assistant director at our kids’ daycare. And little Miss Emma is one of my daughter’s best friends there… and they have moved across the country. This was a little farewell photo shoot, in the warm, Arizona desert. They are now surrounded by snow!

Arizona will definitely miss you girls! We definitely do around here, but we know you’re going to have so many adventures. And who knows, maybe we can come visit sometime and let the kids see real snow!! xoxo, Julie

I had a blast shooting this fun family… the little man is a bundle of energy (he’ll be 2 in February)! He kept me on my toes (and I’ll admit I was pretty exhausted when I got in the car), but we had a great time!
